SEMCORP Yuxi’s Phase II Project Begins Production with First Line Operational

Recently, SEMCORP Yuxi, a subsidiary of SEMCORP, reached an important milestone as the first production line of its Phase II project was successfully commissioned and put into operation. This marks the official commencement of production operations at the Phase II project and the beginning of a new stage of capacity ramp-up.

With the press of the start button for the first production line of the Phase II project, the new production line at SEMCORP Yuxi successfully began producing separator film, officially bringing the Phase II project into its production and operational stage.

Prior to this milestone, all eight production lines under Phase I had already reached full production capacity last year. The successful commissioning of the first production line of Phase II represents a critical first step in the construction of the eight-line Phase II project. It marks SEMCORP Yuxi’s transition from a stable development stage characterized by “full commissioning of Phase I and a solid foundation” to a new phase of “accelerated growth and large-scale expansion.”

Building on the solid production capacity established by Phase I, the official commencement of production operations at Phase II is accelerating SEMCORP’s progress toward its goal of developing a globally leading lithium-ion battery separator production base.
