Great News! SEMCORP Yuxi Phase I Fully Operational with 8 Production Lines, Adding New Momentum to Production Capacity

Recently, SEMCORP Yuxi, a subsidiary of SEMCORP Group, reached a significant milestone: all eight production lines of its Phase I project, designed with an annual output of 1.6 billion square meters of lithium battery separators, have been fully completed. This achievement grants SEMCORP Yuxi an annual production capacity of 800 million square meters of lithium battery separators, injecting strong momentum to solidify the company's leading position in the industry.

Since the official commencement of the project, all employees at SEMCORP Yuxi have worked with determination and unity, overcoming challenges to steadily advance the project construction, with encouraging progress reported frequently. Following the smooth commissioning of the first seven production lines, the eighth line, marking the final piece of Phase I, was successfully completed recently, bringing Phase I to a successful close.  Throughout the construction process, the SEMCORP Yuxi base strictly adhered to high-standard design and construction principles, incorporating industry-leading wet-process separator manufacturing technology and vigorously promoting automation and intelligent upgrades across the entire process. This approach not only ensures production efficiency but also solidifies the foundation of product quality, showcasing SEMCORP's technological strength and manufacturing excellence.

As SEMCORP's core production base in Southwest China, the SEMCORP Yuxi Phase I project involves a total investment of 2.4 billion RMB, focusing on the production of high-performance lithium battery separators. The comprehensive commissioning of these eight production lines not only further expands production capacity but also continuously strengthens SEMCORP's leading position in the global separator market. This provides a robust capacity support for the company to serve top-tier global battery customers and expand its market presence.
